Since 2011, The Multi-Story Orchestra has been performing at Bold Tendencies, a not-for-profit creative enterprise and arts organisation based in a disused municipal car park in Peckham, South East London.

Sound Space Vision worked with the Orchestra to improve the found space for live performance and recordings when it hosted composer Steve Reich for the BBC Proms as part of a series of performances in 2016. Responding to the challenge of concrete materials, low ceilings and external noise, SSV developed a series of reflective, angled plywood panels and reflective sails hanging in the ceiling coffers. The adjustable panels and sails allowed the musicians to hear each other and create together in a highly unusual environment.
