Bristol Beacon Acoustical Design
The transformation of Colston Hall into the Bristol Beacon was a long and detailed process, with acoustics at the heart of the project. The new music centre has received accolades from musicians and audiences alike, and by mid-2026 has received numerous awards. Bob Essert outlines the acoustical goals and priorities in the attached note.
